PureCloud Directory view
The PureCloud Directory view is a directory that is optimized for display within the CIC client. Use it to communicate by phone with PureCloud users without leaving your familiar CIC client. You can:

Call PureCloud users.

Direct transfer calls

Consult transfer calls

Call conference
Display the PureCloud Directory view
Requirements: You need the Customize Client Security right to add views.
You add the PureCloud Directory view to your CIC client as you would any other view. For instructions, see Add or Close Views. As with any other view, you also control where the view appears in your CIC client. For more information, see Change View Layout.
Use the PureCloud Directory view
The streamlined PureCloud Directory view is slightly different from the full PureCloud Collaborate interface. It focuses on the controls for locating PureCloud users and making calls.
Note: The PureCloud Directory view will change and improve independently of CIC releases. This screen capture is just a guide to some of the available features.

Profile |
Click your profile picture to:
Important: When you first display the PureCloud Directory view, your CIC user status determines your PureCloud presence. However, you can change this in Preferences and enable your PureCloud presence to determine your CIC user status.
Tip: To edit your profile, use PureCloud Collaborate.

Search |
To find a PureCloud or CIC user, use the Search text box or the Search icon. Enter any keyword such as a name, title, department, skills, or anything else in the user’s profile. |

Directory |
Display the PureCloud directory. |

Favorites |
Display a list of your favorite PureCloud contacts. Favorites are the people and groups you contact most often. Note: You designate favorites in PureCloud Collaborate. |

Directory entry |
Each directory entry displays a photo (if available), job title and department. The color of the presence indicator around the photo indicates the person's current status. |

Call and Transfer/Conference |
All of your PureCloud call operations are available from the directory entry Call and Transfer/Conference icons.
Tip: The icons indicate work, cell, and home phone numbers.
Tip: The CIC client handles the call transfer in the usual manner. For more information, see Transfer a Call After Consulting the Recipient or Transfer a Call Without Consulting the Recipient.
Tip: You can add CIC users or other PureCloud users to this conference call. For more information about adding CIC users, see Making Conference Calls. |
